AlphaGraphics(R) Exceeds $300 Million in System Sales

Visual Communications Franchisor Thrives Despite Economic Slow Down,
Continues Expansion with New Centers and Conversions

    SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 13 /eMediaWorld/ -- AlphaGraphics(R), a leading
print, graphics and marketing communications franchisor, has had another
record- breaking year in system sales. AlphaGraphics' network of more than
250 business centers exceeded $300 million in total sales for their fiscal
year of 2008, besting last year's record of $294 million, and shows no
signs of slowing despite current economic conditions.

"AlphaGraphics is thriving and continuing to award franchises even in
this economic climate because we appeal to entrepreneurs who are looking
for a business-to-business concept that can replace their executive and
upper-management incomes without being required to open multiple
locations," said AlphaGraphics' CEO Kevin K. Cushing.

"We stay on the leading edge and continue to enjoy sales growth by
continuously evolving our equipment, technology and solutions. We haven't
implemented a fancy marketing strategy; our success is based on the simple
fact that our concept works and it's what both our franchisees and their
clients want and need, that's why we expect to keep growing."

According to Art Coley, AlphaGraphics' senior director of franchise
development, AlphaGraphics has approximately 20 new locations scheduled to
open before the end of 2008 -- which is more locations than the company has
opened in the last three years combined -- with plans to both expand in
markets where AlphaGraphics already has a presence, including Houston,
Nashville, Miami, Phoenix, Tucson, Chicago and Austin, and untapped markets
where the brand would like to grow, such as Iowa City and Mission Viejo.
Coley added that AlphaGraphics' growth will also come from non-franchised
locations converting their existing businesses into AlphaGraphics centers.

"Our customers are looking for better quality, shorter runs, faster
turnaround and more affordability," said Coley. "According to the National
Association of Printers and Lithographers, over 700 independent print shops
will go out of business each year for the next five years. Since
AlphaGraphics is planning growth in nearly every market across the country,
we are encouraging these independent operators to contact us and transform
their businesses into AlphaGraphics business centers."
