Announcements and Press Releases

eMEdiaWorld.com News Release Submission Guidelines
We publish, verbatim, selected press releases and formal announcements from other organizations, provided the material is consistent with our mission and of practical interest to a broad readership. Generally, announcements we publish are of at least statewide interest, and most are national in scope. Submissions that are merely exercises in self-promotion will not be considered.

Typical topics for published announcements and press releases include published (peer-reviewed) research, upcoming conferences and events, and new, noncommercial publications or websites.

We generally do not publish announcements of commercial products for sale, although we may consider some of these items for listing in our Resource database (see below). We also do not publish job announcements or, except in rare cases of national interest, announcements of position appointments, funding received, or special honors.

All announcement submissions must include full public contact information and be ready to publish as is. We may edit headlines for length or style, and formatting is limited to bulleted lists, hyperlinks, and italic and bold text. We cannot include data tables or graphics.

Letters to the Editor

We invite readers to share their thoughts with us by emailing us at news@eMediaWorld.com . You must include your full name, street address, city, state, zip code and phone number. We will strip out your address and phone number before posting your letter, but we do require that information to verify authenticity. Please keep your letter short and concise.

By submitting a letter, you, the author, grant eMediaWorld the rights to publish, distribute, archive and use the work in print, electronic, online or other formats.

Op-Eds

eMediaWorld welcomes op-ed pieces, and requests that works be no more than 1500 words. Authors should include a small digital headshot, and a brief bio with their submission. Copy may be submitted in plain text, word document format, or as a PDF. By submitting your op-ed, you are granting eMediaWorld the right to publish, distribute, archive and use the work in print, electronic, online and other formats.
