As the days keep rolling on, the GOP presidential primary continues to heat up, and while Donald Trump firmly owns the number one spot in the majority of polls that have come out, fellow candidate Dr. Ben Carson is surging ahead like crazy.
The latest poll released shows Carson is now only four points behind “The Donald.”
A new CBS News/NY Times poll is out this morning showing Donald Trump with a commanding lead over most of the GOP at 27% among GOP Primary Voters. However for the first time it shows Ben Carson at 23%, only four points behind Trump:
It’s also worth noting that 37% of the GOP Primary Voters have already made up their mind with the remaining 63% saying it’s still too early.
This race truly is anybody’s ball game at this point, and with the strong candidates in the pool this cycle, it’s looking promising for America’s future.
Now the question I’m wondering is what kind of impact this week’s debate will have on the poll numbers we’re seeing now. If Carson does well, will we see a shake up with him nabbing the top spot?
